Last year, we discovered Caveau Morakopf simply by chance, when we took a wrong turn and ended up here for lunch. We have since been back 3 or 4 times, as it is less than 2 hours from where we live and worth the drive. It’s charming and unpretentious, whilst the food is simple yet delicious. We look forward to our next visit.

Had Easter lunch here. Great place, good wine and generous portions. My only regret is that I didn't try the fondue vigneron...maybe next time...

I brought my family here after days of meals in Paris, Luxembourg, and Strasbourg, and they reported Caveau Morakopf as the first dining experience where everything from entree to dessert being stellar. My favorite item was the foie gras. The ambience is incredibly quaint, too. Be sure to call 24h in advance if you want fondue.
